Article 1
Purpose. This Decision stipulates the principles, regulations, and measures for the operation of chemical safety consulting services, in order to manage, monitor, and inspect this work, ensuring it is carried out correctly in accordance with technical specifications, in compliance with laws and regulations, aiming to guarantee the quality and safety of chemicals, and contributing to the national economic and social development.
Article 2
Chemical Safety Consulting Services. Chemical safety consulting services refer to the provision of safety information, enhancement of technical capabilities, testing, research, technical certification, risk assessment, and the development of plans for the prevention and handling of chemical accidents, such as those involving containers, packaging, labeling, storage, transportation, handling, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and chemical waste.
Article 3
Interpretation of Terms. Terms used in this Decision shall have the following meanings: 1. License for operating chemical safety consulting services means the document permitting the operation of chemical safety consulting services; 2. Form ສ1 means the form for filling in information for the consideration of issuing a license for operating chemical safety consulting services; 3. Form ສຂ means the form for filling in information for the preparation of a techno-economic feasibility study; 4. Form ສ8 means the form for filling in information for the consideration of renewing a license for operating chemical safety consulting services.
