To: Staff, military personnel, police, natural persons, legal persons, and organizations in Oudomxay Province. — Pursuant to the Law on Local Administration No. 68/ສພຊ, dated December 14, 2015; — Pursuant to the Customs Law No. 81/ສພຊ, dated June 29, 2020; — Pursuant to the Order on Inspection and Taking of Measures against Persons Illegally Importing and Using Various Types of Vehicles No. 20/ນຍ, dated October 8, 2021. Article 2
All citizens, staff, military personnel, police officers, natural persons, legal persons, and organizations are required to heighten vigilance and submit their vehicles for lawful and correct tax declaration and payment; at the same time, the various departments, agencies at the departmental level, and the seven districts are tasked, within their respective scopes of duties, to intercept smuggled and improperly used vehicles, and to resolutely resolve this issue from the date of issuance of this order until September 30, 2023.

Call upon individuals holding vehicles that have not yet been registered, are using fake license plates, have been written off from state asset accounts but have not yet paid taxes, as well as smuggled imported vehicles, to act promptly and voluntarily deliver the vehicles to relevant law enforcement personnel for tax declaration and payment, in order to comply with laws and regulations;
