Article 1
Purpose. This Decision stipulates policies, principles, regulations, and measures regarding the promotion of the organization, activities, management, and supervision of micro, small, and medium enterprises, in order to develop and enhance the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises, encourage the production of goods, trade, and services, aiming to create employment, increase income, improve the people's living standards, achieve broad and sustainable development, and contribute to the economic and social development and growth of Luang Namtha Province.
Article 2
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (abbreviated: MSMEs) refer to businesses operating lawfully in accordance with laws and relevant regulations. The scale of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is divided into three levels, as follows: 1. Micro enterprises; 2. Small enterprises: Trade sector with 6-50 employees, asset value not exceeding 1,200,000,000, total revenue not exceeding 4,300,000,000; Service sector with asset value not exceeding 1,800,000,000, total revenue not exceeding 2,250,000,000; 3. Medium enterprises: Production sector with 51-99 employees, asset value not exceeding 4,800,000,000, total revenue not exceeding 6,000,000,000; Trade sector with asset value not exceeding 4,800,000,000, total revenue not exceeding 9,000,000,000; Service sector with 51-99 employees, asset value not exceeding 7,200,000,000, total revenue not exceeding 6,000,000,000 (all units in Kip).
