Article 1 (Amended) Purpose

Article 2 (Amended) Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases
Infectious diseases refer to diseases caused by pathogens or pathogen toxins, which can be transmitted and spread directly or indirectly from person to person, from animals to persons, and through vectors.
Prevention of infectious diseases refers to the application of health measures, effective safety management principles, and biosafety principles to resist the occurrence of infectious diseases.
Control of infectious diseases refers to the application of health measures, social measures, and other necessary measures to promptly contain infectious diseases, preventing their spread and outbreak, aiming to reduce risk factors, severity, and harmfulness until the infectious diseases are eliminated.
