Article 1

Pursuant to: Law on Government No. 03/National Assembly (November 16, 2021); Law on Tap Water No. 04/National Assembly (July 9, 2009); Report of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport No. 526/MPWT (September 5, 2022). The Government hereby issues this Decree:
Article 2
Purpose. This Decree stipulates the principles, systems, and measures for managing, supervising, and inspecting the work of tap water pricing policy, aiming to make the implementation of such work efficient, effective, and equitable, with the goal of promoting national, private, and foreign investment, enabling users to have full access to tap water at fair prices, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
Article 3
Tap Water Pricing Policy. The tap water pricing policy is to establish reasonable tap water prices that enable water supply service providers to operate effectively and sustainably, and to ensure that everyone has access to tap water with guaranteed quantity and quality at an affordable cost.
