The Law on Surveying and Cartography is hereby promulgated.

Article 2

Article 2 Entry into Force of the Presidential Decree
This Presidential Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.

Resolution of the National Assembly Session
On the Adoption of the Law on Surveying and Cartography

Pursuant to Article 53, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Revised Version 2015), and Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Amendments to Certain Articles of the Law on the National Assembly and the Law on the Provincial People's Assembly (Revised Version 2020).

During the Second Ordinary Session of the Ninth National Assembly, the content of the Law on Surveying and Cartography was extensively and thoroughly deliberated, discussed in the agenda of the session on 11 November 2021, and adopted in the latter part of the session on 16 November 2021.

The National Assembly Session Resolves:
Article 1 The Law on Surveying and Cartography is adopted by a vote of more than half of the members of the National Assembly present.
Article 2 This Resolution shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
