Article 1

Article 2

The management of indigenous sports and physical activities refers to the centralized and unified implementation nationwide of principles, regulations, and measures concerning the supervision, inspection, establishment, suspension, dissolution, approval of competitions, and conduct of activities for clubs, groups, associations, and federations related to indigenous sports and physical activities.

Article 3

Interpretation of Terms. The terms used in this Agreement shall have the following meanings: 1. General indigenous sports and physical activities for play and competition refer to forms of play and performance derived from the folk wisdom of Lao ethnic groups, performance styles of Lao ethnic groups, training and drills, various annual indigenous sports competitions, and activities in sports competitions held during traditional festivals and national and international important days; 2. Indigenous sports and physical activities involving the use of livestock in training, drills, and competitions refer to the use of domestic animals raised by Lao ethnic groups, trained and drilled with proper scientific methods, managed with organization, and competed in accordance with rules and regulations in sports competition activities during traditional festivals and national and international important days.
