Summary
This Agreement stipulates the management, inspection, conditions and procedures for issuing licenses for service operations related to mineral business, clarifies the suspension, revocation, termination, and cancellation of licenses, rights and obligations of operators, management and supervision agencies and their powers, as well as policy measures for meritorious persons and violators, and shall take effect fifteen days after signing and publication in the Government Gazette.
Articles
Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement stipulates principles and regulations concerning the management, monitoring, supervision of operations, and procedures and conditions for issuing operating licenses related to service operations associated with mineral operations, in order to achieve uniformity, transparency, efficiency, and safety, contributing to the national economic and social development, and progressively improving the lives of the people of all ethnic groups in Laos.
Article 2
Service business operations related to mineral operations. Service business operations related to mineral operations refer to business operations engaged in surveying, exploration, mapping, geophysical surveying, drilling exploration, mining, transportation, testing, mineral consulting, and other services related to minerals.
Article 3
Scope of application. This Agreement applies to domestic and foreign individuals, legal persons, and organizations engaged in business operations related to mineral operations services nationwide.
