Articles

Article 1

Purpose. This Decree stipulates the principles and systems for the management and use of the Forest Protection Fund, with the aim of accumulating and raising funds from domestic and foreign sources, to provide sustainable, transparent, and auditable funding for forestry work, contributing to the implementation of the national socio-economic development plan in a green and sustainable direction.

Article 2

Forest Protection Fund. The Forest Protection Fund, abbreviated as "FPF," in English "Forest Protection Fund," is a fund established by the state to accumulate and raise funds from various sources, ensuring an adequate and sustainable budget and using it efficiently and effectively for forestry work.

Article 3

Interpretation of Terms. The terms used in this Decree shall have the following meanings: 1. Forestry remediation fee refers to the amount that individuals, legal persons, or organizations licensed to engage in forestry activities must pay to the State at the rates prescribed by the State; 2. Compensation obligation fee for tree planting and forest by-products refers to the amount that individuals, legal persons, or organizations licensed to harvest timber and forest by-products must pay to the State at the rates prescribed by the State before harvesting.
