Articles
Article 1
List of exported wood products. The Ministry of Industry and Trade approves the following list of exported wood products: 1. Export list of plantation wood products (Appendix 1); 2. Export list of natural wood products (wood listed in Categories I, II, and III) (Appendix 2); 3. Export list of rattan and bamboo products (Appendix 3); 4. Export list of natural wood products (only wood listed in Categories II and III) (Appendix 4).
Article 2
Determination of Category I, II, and III Timber Lists. The determination of Category I, II, and III timber lists shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Agreement on the Determination of Category I, II, and III Timber Lists, No. 0448/ປມ (April 6, 2021).
Article 3
Collection of Special Royalty Fees and Export Procedures. The collection of special royalty fees for the export of wood products shall be implemented in accordance with Notification No. 885/ຫສນຍ of the Office of the Prime Minister (dated July 28, 2021), as follows: 1. For the export of semi-finished wood products, including only furniture parts such as table legs, shelf legs, etc., as listed in Annexes 2 and 4 of this Agreement, a special royalty fee shall be paid at the rate of 15%; 2. The export of sawn timber (laminated boards, sawn timber, and strips) shall be implemented in accordance with a specific government notification. The export procedures for wood and wood products shall be determined in separate regulations.
