Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement stipulates the principles, regulations, and methods for the valuation zones of land and buildings in Xayaboury Province, to be used for calculating fees and levying income tax when there is a change in the rights to use land and buildings and registration of legal acts concerning land and buildings is carried out, aiming to establish a systematic management, supervision, and inspection framework, and to encourage individuals, legal entities, and organizations to fulfill their obligations to the state.
Article 2
Delimitation of Land and Building Valuation Zones. The delimitation of land valuation zones refers to determining the land value of each area within a region based on geographical location characteristics, infrastructure, and the level of economic and social development in each period. The determination of building valuation refers to assessing the value of the area of buildings constructed on the land, such as: residences, guesthouses, hotels, office buildings, and other structures.
