Articles
Article 1
Purpose. This Agreement stipulates the principles, rules, and measures for the management, supervision, and inspection of vehicle parts used for the production and/or assembly of land vehicles within factories, ensuring that factory operations comply with laws and regulations. It aims to guarantee technical safety and quality in accordance with the technical system for the production and/or assembly of land vehicles, contributing to the national economic and social development in line with the direction of industrialization and modernization.
Article 2
Land Vehicle Parts. Land vehicle parts refer to components of land vehicles, including individual parts, fully assembled units, and unassembled units, used for assembly into complete vehicles, and are distinguished by form in accordance with Article 4 of this Agreement.
Article 3
Scope of Application. This Agreement applies to domestic and foreign individuals and legal entities engaged in the production and/or assembly of land vehicles within the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
