Where to apply

Apply to the veterinary authority (MAF); the veterinary checkpoint quarantines (Arts.45, 43).

Procedure

• Apply for the import permit (IET1)
• Pre-import technical check (IET2/3)
• Declare to border vet ≥1 day before; border check (IET7)
• Quarantine certificate (IET8), post-import monitoring (IET8-1/9)

• Transit ≥1-day notice is mandatory (Art.49); import/export filed 15 days ahead (Arts.45, 48)
